Hello, Parents, Teachers, and of course the class of 2018. Welcome to our Graduation!! I can’t believe we are graduating. It feels like just yesterday we were little fifth graders  walking down the halls, scared of the big eighth graders, and trying to get used to locker combinations. But guess what we are those big scary eighth graders. I can’t believe that we are going on to High School. I have been in this district for 9 years. From Kindergarten to 8th grade. So, this is kind of like my second home. I’d like to thank everyone who helped me get to where I am right now. First off, I would like to thank all the teachers for teaching us, and having to answer emails and listen to all our whining, and grading papers till midnight, that sometimes we didn’t even try on. Thank you  Mr. Carro for being the best Math teacher and cracking funny jokes in class, Mr. Carris for being so chill and teaching us History, Mrs. Maldonado for teaching us life lessons, and doing fun experiments, Mrs. Joy

My ending at District 67 went by so fast. I can't believe its over. It feels like it just was the first day of kindergarten, but guess what is is almost the end of 8th grade. I am really nervous/scared for high school, and at the sometime I am kind of excited, to meet new people. I hope my last few weeks of middle school go by fun. Here are a few goals for High School: 1). Make better study habits 2). Study for all tests!! 3). Do my homework- even though I do it most of the time. 4). Ask for help if I don't understand something 5). Ask Questions!! This is basically some of my goals for high school.

Well, Today you are gonna learn about who Anne Frank was. Anne Frank was the girl who had a diary, and was the girl who was forced into hiding for more than 2 years. Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt Germany. Her diary was named "The Diary of A Young Girl". Anne Frank wrote down her feelings, and events she passed through in the Secret Annex. The Secret Annex was where Anne's family hid in for two years. They hid in there because Anne's sister, Margot received a letter ordering her to go to a work camp in Germany. The Secret Annex was located behind Anne Frank's fathers office. But, eventually they were found and sent to a concentration camp. Anne Frank died because of typhus fever. She died on March 12, 1945 in the concentration camp. She died at the age of 15. I hope you learned a lot about Anne Frank.

No one can live without food. Food is everything to me. I love food. The best cook in my house is my mom because, she makes everything so flavor able, and tasty, that's what makes my mom the best cook in the house. Even if my dad would cook he would never be able to cook like my mom. My favorite dish that my mom cooks is her pasta, or chicken and rice. Her pasta is delicious she sometimes makes it with ground beef or chicken and sometime makes it with cheese. I also like her chicken and rice. It is simply rice with chicken and a few vegetables and some spices. This is why my mom is the best cook at my house.

Here are a few test taking tips to prepare for a test.... 1). Don't Give Up, Always try your best, Believe in Yourself 2). Don't Procrastinate, Study on a daily basis for about 10-15 minutes. 3). Eat a healthy breakfast, It is never easy to take a test while your stomach is growling, Well at least for me it's not easy. 4). Get Plenty of Sleep, You don't want to be sleepy while you are taking your test 5). Think Positive, NOT Negative, Always thing Positive, Don't think you're gonna fail the test. 6). Read all the Instructions and listen carefully. 7). Don't rush on the day of the tests, Get all your books ready the day before. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

So, for this week's blog post we are suppose to use this quote as an inspiration, the quote is listed below. We are also suppose to add 2 figurative languages such as similes and metaphors.                                                                                                                                                  January 12, 2016 Dear Diary,                    On January 12, 2016 my brother was born. When we came back from school, we saw my aunt's car on the driveway. She told us that your mom is at the hospital she is going to have her baby. I was really excited. So, my aunt drove us to her house. After, we got to her house, we ate a snack, then I had to do my homework. I did my homework for about 2 hours. Afterwards, my aunt got a phone call, It was my dad, so my aunt gave me the phone so I could talk to my dad, and he had really good news. My mom had a baby boy!!! So, I told my aunt and my sister, they were really excited. I was excited because I always wanted a baby brother. I already had 2 sisters. So, now I have a baby brother. I took care of him a lot but now I don't take care of him as much as I used to take care of him. I was in 6t

So, this week is free blog post. I am going to be writing about why I like the season summer. I like summer because it's really nice outside, and we can go to the pool, and even hang out with friends. Also, It is my birthday month. I like summer birthday's because we can go to the pool, and swim, and Also, have ice cream. I also, like summer because there is no snow, I do not like snow. This is basically why I like the season summer.

Hello, So this week's post is suppose to be about how each photo has a better understanding of my life. So, I will show you 2-4 photos of my life, and how it describes me. So, here it is!!! Six Flags Great America is a very fun place to go. My family and I went 2 years ago in the summertime. We went to most of the rides. We went early in the morning and came back at like 8 at night. This relates to my life because I am not a boring person, who likes to stay home always. But, I am a person who likes having fun.                                                                                   This is Skydeck Chicago or as known as Willis Tower. It is in Downtown Chicago. If you go on ledge, you could basically see the whole downtown from there. We went a few years ago. It was really cool. The elevator has a big tv in it which talks about Willis Tower. This relates to my life because I have ups and down is my life. The elevator represents the ups and downs in my life. T

Half the names on the list had already been crossed off. Everybody in Maine East Elementary School have been waiting to see who got in the basketball team. Until the bell rang, they were all very excited to see who made the basketball team. They finally posted the list at exactly 3:20 P.M. They were all so excited to see who made the basketball team. They thought that everybody was going to make the team. Until, they went down the list to find there names, there names were crossed of and actually have of the people who tried out didn't make it. Only a few people made the team. At the end, they were all sad and went home crying. The End.

This blog post is about resolutions that I want to achieve in the 2018 school year. First, I want to make better study habits, because I am not doing really good in some of my classes. So, I want to make time from my other activities to my regular school homework, an if I have tests then I have to study. my plan is to first do all my homework, and after I'm done with my homework if we have any tests then study for those, and who doesn't like reading a your book before you go to bed. S, I want to read for at least 20 minutes before I go to bed. These are my reasons why I want to achieve this goal.  My Second and final, goal is to get all A's on my report card. To get all A's I have to study more, and do good on my tests, and never miss homework. This goal is important to me because I want to go to a good college, Also, the grades that you get in 8th grade depends on what college you are going to. This is why I really want to achieve this goal. I hope I achieve both
